The repairing of the piece is done before the final finish is applied.  This is done so touch-ups can be made

to hide a repair or imperfection.  In this step we will also assemble the piece and make sure all parts fit

With old or antique furniture it is necessary to clean the piece with a mild solvent or detergent before a new

Stain will be applied to the areas of the piece that need it.  If necessary we can airbrush any flaws or

Since we are over coating an existing finish, different products are recommended.  We can apply any variety

of finish (velvet oil, tongue oil, lacquer, etc.).  We will help you pick out a finish that will keep your

 

 

 

piece looking authentic.
